Harry Bertoia Framed Monotype on Rice Paper

Sold Sold
  • Description
Bertoia created hundreds if not thousands of one of a kind monotypes in his career, often as working drawings for his sculpture works. He employed a variety of techniques to arrive at his unique ends, most often scribing the reverse of a paper on an ink covered plate. Bertoia's prints were never offered for sale in their time, and are rare to market. The print is farmed unmated in an oiled walnut frame.
