Description An important academic work, a plaster cast of the Selene horse from he Parthenon Sculptures the marbles collection at the British Museum. The horse of Selene is a detail from the east pediment of the Parthenon in Athens, the most famous and important ancient Greek site at the Acropolis in Athens. The original marble sculpture was made by the famous sculptor Fidia and dates to 438-432 BC.
