Description Original watercolor and gouache on archival paper by the noted American realist painter, George K. Ralph. Signed and dated lower left, 1989. Here we see a typical New York City street scene with the iconic Empire State Building in the distant. Condition is excellent with custom made antique silver leaf frame. Overall measurements are 26.25 by 30.25 inches.

George K. Ralph studied at the Newark School of Fine Art and New York University. He also studied privately with the internationally known portraitist Lyjos Markos, Alfred Van Loon, sculptor and graphic artist and noted Philadelphia landscape painter Seymour Remenick.

Thirty five years as a professional artist has earned George Ralph international recognition and over one hundred major art awards. He has exhibited at the Newark Museum of Art, the Jersey City Museum of Art and has had one man shows at New York University and the University of Maryland.
