  • Description
    Born in Berlin, Germany in 1875, painter and printmaker Paul Paeschke studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in Berlin under Karl Köpping, a master known for his etchings and decorative glass art. Best known for his depictions of the bustle of city streets and suburban life, Paeschke exhibited throughout Europe and became an important chronicler of public life during the first decades of the 20th century.

    His works are held in the Städtische Sammlung Charlottenburg and the Städtische Museen Darmstadt.
