Period 18th Century
Description A fine brass and copper tobacco box made for the German market. The box commemorates the German victory over the French in the Battle of Krefeld in 1758 under Ferdinand, Duke of Brunswick. On the lid, the repousse decoration features portraits of Frederick the Great and Prince Henry.
