A rare, masterful, and exceptional Islamic gilt and ebonized wood three-panel screen, circa 1900.

Hand carved by a master Arabic Islamic calligrapher, this screen will make a very powerful statement in any room placed. If you are Muslim, or enjoy Islamic decor in your home, this screen is a phenomena. Only one in the world has ever been seen and available for sale. The quality of the calligraphy is extraordinary with 2 Surahs of the Holy Quran and a verse from Surah Al-baqarah.

The first panel on the right side:
Surah Al-Fatihah Number 1:

Chapter 1: The Opening Al-Fatiha: Verse 1 In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, Master of the Day of Judgment, Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek, Show us the straight way, The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.

The middle panel:
Verse number 255 named Al-Korsi from Surat Al-Baqarah

"Allah! There is no god but He - the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him Nor Sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede In His presence except as he permitted. He knows what appeared to His creatures as before or after or behind them. Nor shall they encompass Aught of his knowledge Except as He will. His throne doth extend over the heavens And on earth, and He feels No fatigue in guarding and preserving them, For He is the Most High. The Supreme (in glory)."

The last panel on the left side:
Surah Al-Kadr number 97

We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power: And what will explain to thee what the night of power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand. Peace!...This until the rise of morn!
