Description
Painted blanket chest with bracketed feet and beautifully scalloped apron. Top with molded edge and stepped cleats. An absolute delight, this festive 18th century jewel made of pine with a original till has a wonderful, early 19th century painted surface. The top is affixed with iron hinges, lifting to reveal a tidy interior. The feet are crisply cut and lend a nice balance.
