Description

Collector's chest of drawers designed by Alessandro Mendini, "Ollo" series for Alchimia Design 80's. The chest of drawers is made with 4 drawers. The particularity of the "Ollo" series takes up the Olympic motif by Mendini, for Studio Alchimia Italia, 1988. The drawer has a peculiarity: from the central body comes out a support table with wheels that allows its movement. Its wheels allow this semi-desk to be moved at will. Note the trapezoidal shaped feet of the drawer.
Open 150 cm, closed 118 cm and 80 cm deep.
Flash Art by Mendini, belongs to the "Alchimia" movement, one of the most vital and innovative centres of post-avant-garde Italian design, founded in Milan by architect and designer Alessandro Guerriero in 1976. "Alchimia" was a laboratory where architects, designers such as: Alessandro Mendini, Ettore Sottsass, Paolo Navona and others have created fantastic experiments.
