Description
French Directoire chest of drawers, with galleried original top in gray veined white marble, decorated with brass stringing lines and moldings at the feet as well as chased brass plaques on the rounded corners, circa 1795- 1810. A special Empire commode for the choice of veneer in "Acajou Moucheté" (spotted mahogany), a precious wood for the pattern in the grain, its warmth and elegance make it also ideal for an entrance as a sideboard, in excellent original condition.
