Bass Credenza Sideboard with Straw Marquetry Inlay and Patinated Brass Plinth
-
Description
This credenza is an icon of the Charles Burnand collection. A simple cabinet with one internal shelf and two doors, each piece is finished with a distinctive inlayed panel in either mica or straw marquetry.
Handcrafted in the UK, the carcase shown is a dark Amara Ebony, with patinated brass handles and hinges and a patinated brass plinth.
This piece shows the "Bass" design of black-dyed straw marquetry inlay - inspired by the rotunda at the Bass Museum in Miami, Florida. -
