Description
Early 1960s, mid-20th century credenza/chest of drawers, entirely handcrafted in Italy, enticing modern design with arrow pointed side drawers and rounded corners, the surround whole in glass having unusual color in rich dark red burgundy, the front with 6 drawers colored in rose pink and wine tints, with two shades of silver grey in the center. Each drawer is outlined with a glass band worked with pure gold and edged in brass. The horizontal geometric design is highlighted with hand made clear glass handles on manufactured bronze supports. The 4 original round legs are in black lacquered wood with brass pointed feet. A fun piece executed with attention to design details and quality craftsmanship.
