Gorgeous 19th century Danish 'Bombe' commode of walnut with parcel gilt carving. In the Rococo style of 18th century Royal furniture-maker Mathias Ortmann. Sumptuous detailing and lustrous patina. Pretty pink veined marble top (later date). A perfectly beautiful stand alone piece in a small foyer topped with a cluster of pink roses.
