High chest or dresser in hand-rubbed ebonized walnut was produced circa 1950 by the acclaimed American Mid-Century Modern designer Edmund Spence. A pair of swing-open doors reveal two dividers offering three separate storage compartments, while four stacked drawers offer additional storage. The piece rests on a curved support base. This piece has been restored to mint condition.
