Description An Edward Wormley designed walnut sideboard manufactured by Dunbar, model 671A, circa 1953 with
An exquisite Japanese inspired cabinet featuring four sliding walnut doors with two drawers with cast bronze pulls. An unusual detail of the sideboard is that the door faces are decorated with custom ordered hand painted silver foil.
The paper resembles hand painted Laverne silver foil wall paper of the period and may have been a Laverne studio product.
There is a subtle shimmer to the foil panels in a raking light.
Behind the doors, the interior has four adjustable shelves and two pull-out trays.
The cabinet rests on four legs with exposed mortise and tenon joinery.
The cabinet has a green Dunbar Berne Indiana label.
The dimensions of the sideboard 36 x 72 x 18.25" in depth.
The cabinet is in excellent condition.

A tapering three-shelved walnut bookcase / plate Stand designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar.
Green Dunbar Berne Indiana metal tag is on the reverse.
The bookcase measures 31.75 x 48 x 11.5" Deep.
The bookcase is in excellent condition.

The Edward Wormley serving cart for Dunbar, model 5433, dates from the early 1950s.
An unusual detail of the cart is that the hinged door face is decorated with custom ordered hand painted oil drop on silver foil.
The paper resembles hand painted Laverne silver foil wall paper of the period and may have been a Laverne studio product.
The cart has the green Dunbar Berne label affixed to the interior of the drawer.
The trapezoidal folding top when extended measures 54 inches in length.
The dimensions are 32 x 28 to 54" x 21" in depth.
The bar cart is in excellent condition

The Edward Wormley walnut extension dining table has a dark walnut base with four leather end caps. The base contrasts with the walnut top which is a natural lighter toned finish. The top slides open to reveal (2) 15" leaves stored within.
The table closed measures 42" by 68" closed and 98" when fully extended.
The dining table measures 29.5 x 68 to 98 x 42" deep.
The table is restored and in excellent condition.
