Description
An early 19th century estate cabinet in polished oak from an English country house. Accomplished estate-made craftsmanship and wonderful timber. One of a kind. This piece would have been housed in the estate office to keep the records. Geometric panelled doors opening to reveal interior, with symmetrical smaller doors and drawers above enclosing curved file dividers, and central pigeon holes for mail or other storage. Upper and lower molded cornices and high stile feet. Adds a tailored elegance and architectural interest to a room.
