English Early 19th Century Painted Pine Trunk

Description
A wonderful English trunk, painted a lovely ochre, from the beginning of the 19th century. The little chest contains a working lock, so you can store your belongings safely. The interior has a candle box inside. This little box is special. If you lift one side, it slides up to reveal two hidden drawers that provide added security for valuable items. The trunk is lifted by shaped bracket feet. The perfect blanket or toy chest! c.1810.
