Description
Beautiful circa 1930 English bench made solid mahogany serpentine front chest of four drawers after a design by Thomas Chippendale (1718-1779) of circa 1755; the top with burled amboyna border above canted corners with elaborate hand carved acanthus corbel and foliate designs. Note: The shims the chest is sitting on in photos are due to an uneven floor; the chest sits level.
