Eugenio Diez illuminated liquor cabinet from the early 1950s.
The walnut demilune dry bar has finned sides, four locking doors mounted with eight backlit raised panels depicting the eight classical arts.
The arts that Eugenio Diez chose to represent are sculpture, music, poetry, theatre, painting, architecture, dance and ceramics.
There is a push switch on the upper left side panel that turns on the exterior lighting that back lite the eight raised door panels giving a soft halo of light for each.
The interior lights switch on when you open the doors.
There are a great variety of exotic and rare woods that create the palette there are no added stains..
The level of craftsmanship of the marquetry is remarkable.
The liquor cabinet rests on a custom-made metal base.
The cabinet is in excellent condition. -
