Description
An amazing burl commode from France crafted circa 1750. The charcoal and white marble top is absolutely stunning. The geometric inlay work throughout the piece is in wonderful condition, still flush with the burl without any visible damage. Each deep drawer showcases a pair of decorative drop ring pulls and a floral escutcheon. The cast brass pulls have a beautiful urn form in the center and the ring has floral elements. The whole is raised on tapered legs fit with brass sabot feet. The marble is removable. No keys are present. Make sure to view the detailed photographs to get a closer look at the unique elements throughout.
