French 19th Century Directoire-Style Enfilade

Description
This elegant and diminutive walnut and burl walnut Directoire-style enfilade, c. 1880, is from France and features a rich, warm finish. The carved surface rests above a central short drawer with brass escutcheon and small key, flanked by two more short drawers with circular brass pulls. Below are three paneled doors, the central of which is finished with a gorgeous burl walnut, which open to reveal a single shelf offering plenty of storage. The whole is raised on tapering block feet. This enfilade is perfect for today’s smaller living spaces.
