French 19th Century Inlay Mahogany Directoire-Style Commode

Description
Outstanding inlay graces nearly every surface of this beautiful 19th century French Directoire style commode. The commode features a gray marble top, which is in wonderful antique condition, that has canted corners that match those on the body. The body is made with three large drawers, each equipped with two beaded brass drop-ring pulls and styled brass ribbon escutcheons. There are no keys. The front legs are also canted, tapered, and capped in brass feet. A beautifully proportioned commode with abundant storage.
