French 19th Century Pine Bibliotheque
-
Description
A sizable pine bibliotheque crafted in France circa 1860. The four arched glass front, locking and latching upper doors close before two saw-tooth adjustable shelves diverge in the center of the piece. Four lower doors close before two separate compartments, each with a single adjustable shelf. There are two keys included for all four functioning locks that serve as the doors’ pull. This piece sits on a plinth base, flush to the ground. This piece is both rustic and refined. The vibrant pine has gained a wonderful patina over the years. New glass has recently been professionally installed for a clear view of your art, books, and decor. This bibliotheque is the perfect combination of display and hidden storage space. In wonderful antique condition, make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look.
