French 19th Century Second Empire Commode

Description
This refined 19th century Second Empire commode is from France, c. 1850. The carved top, surrounded with a band of boards, rests above three long drawers mounted with round gilt-brass pulls. The upper drawer is outfitted with two dividers providing a large central storage space flanked by two smaller compartments. The whole is raised on Marlborough feet.
