-
Description
Dimensions: 37”H x 115-½”W x 16-¾”D
An impressive transitional enfilade with Louis XV and Directoire influences. This large-scale enfilade is a real showpiece. The patinated wood has a lovely, rich tone and beautiful grain. The sides have a single raised panel detail. Four large moulded and raised panel doors contain working locks, and close before two separated interior compartments. These each have singular fixed shelves. Down the center of the enfilade are four evenly sized drawers with brass knobs. The doors have floral carvings and are styled in the Louis XV fashion while the drawers have Directoire details. The skirt is shaped with curves and carved details, such as its front cabriole feet that are angled like the enfilade’s chamfered corners. This piece has visible hand pegged treenails. -
