French 20th Century Mahogany Rafraîchissoir
-
Description
A most impressive three-tier mahogany rafraîchissoir from early 20th Century France. This fun little table has a white and gray marble top that is trimmed in molded mahogany. Two newer wells can be filled with ice and water to chill your favorite bubbles or booze. A small drawer with drop ring pull resides in the apron and provides storage. Below are two shelves that are perfect for bottles, glasses or flutes. The shelves are spaced by wonderfully turned mahogany columns on each corner. The whole is raised on four feet that are turned and tapered with brass sabots bringing the top and wells to near table-height, making for a self-contained libation station!
