French Mahogany Directoire Style Enfilade

Description
A handsome mahogany enfilade from France, circa 1920. Transitioning from Directoire and Louis XVI styles with a distinctive profile and clean, uncluttered design. The beautiful antique marble has an ogee edge and gray veins throughout. Cleaned and polished with French wax paste, the mahogany has a rich finish that showcases the radiant woodgrains. Four evenly sized drawers with rectangular metal bail pull hardware have been cleaned and easily open. Four doors house three separate storage cavities; the rightmost features a single removable shelf, the two center doors feature the largest space and a single removable shelf, the leftmost door features two removable shelves. Four keys are included, one for each door, all locking mechanisms are functional. The paneled drawers, doors, and sides are all fixed with decorative brass trim. Fluted details flank each drawer and door. Sturdy, tapered legs with brass sabots support the whole of the piece. Make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look at this fabulous enfilade!
