French Vintage Louis XVI-Style Mahogany Enfilade
-
Description
This fine Louis XVI-style vintage marble-top enfilade, c. 1950’s, was found in France and features a beautiful high-gloss lacquer which highlights the exquisite book-matched mahogany veneer. The carved white marble top with grey veining rests above an apron of four short drawers mounted with round ormolu pulls, each above a paneled and ormolu rosette-mounted door. The two central doors are flanked by two side doors, all opening to reveal a single shelf for plenty of storage. One of the side storage areas is outfitted with a brass liqueurs rack. The whole is raised on ormolu-mounted fluted and tapering round legs with sabot feet. This piece would make a fantastic bar for your next soiree!
