Condition Good. Little wear from age and use, very sturdy, and has a newly stained black lacquered finish. This piece has been completely restored and is in very good condition. The bookcase disassembles easily for quick and light transportation.

Description This 19th Century French Louis XVI Style Bookcase is made out of mahogany wood has been stained a rich black color with a lacquered finish. This bookcase has a two-tiered molded top, carved columns running down the sides, and has polished bronze accents throughout the piece. The two side doors and large center door all open and close with ease, have a clear bevel glass panel, and original locks and key in working condition. In the interior is still in its natural mahogany color and each section has four adjustable shelves. Underneath each door, there is a pullout drawer with its original lock and the bookcase rests on carved feet with brass toe caps. This bookcase is elegant, sturdy and ready to use for years to come.
