Exceptional credenza/chest of drawers in Honduran mahogany with book-matched Carpathian elm sliding doors and base, drawers with bronze pulls and interior drawers lacquered in ivory lacquer by Harvey Probber, American 1950's (Signed "Furniture Designed by Harvey Probber" in right interior drawer). The pulls on the sliding doors are hand-carved rosewood and inset. This piece showcases Probber’s devotion to fine craftsmanship.
