Italian Painted Walnut Commode

Description
Italian painted walnut commode dating to the 18th century. Large scale in mortise and tenon construction, raised upon bun feet. Scraped back to original or early paint. Remnants of early paint naturally worned to reveal beautiful walnut wood grain. Contains three wide dovetailed drawers finished in molded trim with canted sides. Simple metal pulls.

Condition:	Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Sturdy mortise and tenon construction. Dovetail drawers. Bun feet old replacements for either similar feet or block feet. Non-functional locks on drawers. Pulls replaced.
