Large, exceptional Mid-Century Modern walnut & rosewood dresser manufactured in 1963, by American manufacturer Lane. This versatile dresser, cabinet or credenza, is from the "Tuxedo" design-line and has little tuxedos or bowties in rosewood, inlaid in dark walnut strips, across the top of the piece, as well as on the front middle cabinet doors, and down the center of the wall hanging mirror. The black enameled metal handles are also tuxedo or bowtie shaped, and have contrasting brushed metal fronts. An amazing mix of Lane's famous craftsmanship and classic, yet whimsical Mid-Century Modern inspired design.

Condition: All doors and drawers work well. Original finish and patina throughout - except top has be sanded, stained, lacquered & burnished. All surfaces match perfectly. Some minor scatted scuffs and shallow dents. Otherwise it's in wonderful condition.

Mirror: 44" H x 44.5" W.
