A Mid-Century Modern one-of-a-kind Italian 4-door cabinet, part of an Aesthetic Movement: il "Mobile Scultura" Sculptural furniture, of which Luciano Frigerio was a major exponent, creating "a piece of furniture which was unique, made by putting together as many excellent materials as possible", combining Art Sculpture with functionality.
This piece of exquisite proportions is decorated with beveled and engraved aquamarine blue glasses attributed to Fontana Arte, the surround, clad in brass lines, is in ivory cream glass highlighted with brass insets, the front made precious with long glass sleek rounded baguettes dipped in pure liquid gold that creates a perfect mirrored finish and accented with handmade hammered brass rectangular handles. The middle section has one short shelf to accommodate bottles if need be, and the sides are covered with mirrors. Raised on square natural brass legs. Every detail speaks of uniqueness.
Depth of the body is 14 inches, with the protruding handles it is 15 in. -
