An exciting example of French design firm Maison Jansen early neoclassical pieces, this French Regency-style commode is imposing. Made from solid mahogany, fully ebonized, varnished and French polished, this stamped Jansen chest of drawers features three drawers with important Ormolu gilt-bronze mounts and handles, and Ormolu gilt-bronze paw feet. The stately proportions are impeccable. This commode has been fully restored, and is in great vintage condition.
