Realized in the United States, this stunning modernist cabinet features a brilliant mosaic of rectilinear mirrored panels secured to a pentagonal form frame. Oriented vertically, these adjacent panels- consisting of rectangular forms of various dimensions- perfectly align forming a beautiful patchwork that covers each of the piece's five sides. The three doors open- via touch latches- to reveal two interior shelves in each of the three compartments as well as a drawer in the far right one. The interior of the drawer retains its original blond oak color, offering a striking contrast to the ebonized finish found throughout the interior of the piece. The top has similarly been finished in a lustrous plain mirror. With its clean modernist lines and beautiful craftsmanship, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically striking, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. Excellent vintage condition.
