Attributed to the Unicorn Artist
A blanket chest in outstanding condition with original paint decoration attributed to Bern Township, Berks County. The chest shares decorative features with those identified as the “Unicorn” chest group; in particular the urn shaping and rings of dots surrounding identical tulips. Circa 1800. Pine; height: 28.5”; width: 50”; depth: 23”. -
