Description A low, six-drawer chest made of flame birch and black lacquered wood. The knobs are inlaid with various contrasting woods to create playfully elegant figures which were one of the distinctions of Schulz's creations for Boet.

Otto Schulz was an architect and designer born in Germany, who moved to Sweden and founded in Gothenburg what quickly became one of Sweden's most prestigious interior design shops--Boet. It operated from 1920-1950. For part of that time Schulz also published an influential design magazine of the same name.
