    Chapo, Pierre, Sideboards, France, 1960s.
    A large custom-made Pierre Chapo model R13 freestanding sideboard. This sideboard has two doors with triangle shaped knobs. The doors are locked by clamping them on the wooden block between them. There are seven smaller drawers and one large drawer above the doors. The sideboard has hand grips on both sides, making it easy to move. This piece shows the sturdy Campagne style and beautiful connections which Chapo's work is known for. The sideboard is in a great condition and the drawers run very smoothly.
