Description Beautiful studio case piece by New Hope craftsman Robert Whitley. Solid oak case with fixed shelf and sharp beveled edge, with highly figured and expertly carved black walnut drawers beautifully pays homage to Whitley's new hope contemporary, George Nakashima. Whitley was one of the original Bucks County artisans who bridged the Craft/art divide. He was honored with a career retrospective at the Michener Museum, and his work is held in numerous important public and private collections.
