Neoclassical Credenza Display Cabinet designed by French designers Roberto & Mito Block Mexico circa the 1940s.
Parchment wrap gilded display.
Constructed in fine materials, rosewood, mahogany, parchment & bronze.
Sliding glass doors with vintage mirror on the back. Original glass shelf with beveled edges.
bronze ornamentation on sides projects bold column design.
Emigrating from France the Block brothers opened their atelier in Mexico City
This design has all the classic elements and inspiration of "l'Union des artistes modernes (UAM), Muebles Artistic Modernes (MAM) and follows the inspiration of the masters from "Paris Beaux-Arts" - Raphael, Dominique, Maxime Old, Michel Dufet, Emile Jacques Ruhlman, Jean Michel Frank among others.
