Rare Sideboard, by Sergio Rodrigues, 60s Brazilian Mid-Century Modern

Description
This beautiful sideboard was conceived in the 60s by Sérgio Rodrigues.
The piece is made of solid Brazilian hardwood. One of the doors is nicely covered in suede and the other door is in veneer. There are four deep and very useful drawers for storage.
The unique design of the wood combined with the suede makes this piece an outstanding creation among the legacy of works left by the master.
The piece was restored by one of our best craftsmen.
Rodrigues's prolific ability to apply this type of tropical wood in different ways, always extremely original and creative made him one of the most important mid-century Brazilian designers. Architect and designer, along with Joaquim Tenreiro and José Zanine Caldas, Rodrigues was the pioneer to transform Brazilian design into industrial design and make it known worldwide.
