Small Louis XIII Wardrobe With Diamond Tips In Oak-17th Century
-
Description
a fine 17th century oak wardrobe with diamond points from France of small size
The wardrobe is of Louis XIII transition Louis XIV style. Indeed we find on the doors the diamond points which are Louis XIII style. But also the symmetry in the panels which is already an influence of Louis XIV.
Very nice relief work on the doors and paneled sides
The cornice is fixed with hooks inside the cabinet. What is unusual and original.
The cabinet is temporarily fitted out as a linen room, but we can of course convert it into a wardrobe if necessary
Very beautiful oak wardrobe in perfect condition with a sublime patina and well proportioned
