Swedish 19th Century Satinwood Chest
-
Description
This stunning chest of drawers from the 1800’s Sweden is a showstopper in any space. Crafted from gorgeous bookmatched satinwood, each drawer front features a detailed escutcheon plate carved from bone. The top drawer houses four smaller drawers within, all fixed with round ivory pulls. Each drawer has a functioning lock- one key is included for all. Recently cleaned and polished with French wax paste- the deep drawers easily open. Rounded corners and a wonderfully scalloped apron soften some of the hard lines and add an air of effortless sophistication to the chest. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look!
