Description
A Swedish birch, walnut and burl walnut fall-front desk, circa 1975, the rectangular top above a single long drawer and a fall front writing surface. The interior with numerous small drawers, inscribed on the bottom. Raised on a molded base with cross stretchers. Also stamped on the back.
The drawer is inscribed:
Student work from Västerviks Gymnasium Produced 1975 by student Gert Svensson teacher Pontus Karlsson
A super quality piece (even finished so nicely on the back) that was probably an exam piece for Västerviks Mobelsnickareskola (as stamped on verso)
