Italian Pair of Willy Rizzo burl brass and chrome chest of drawers 1970s
-
Description
A rare and breathtaking Italian Hollywood Regency pair by Willy Rizzo from the 1970’s, these chests of drawers have a bright and high-end feel, a relic of his time designing for the glamorous members of the so-called dolce vita. Rich lacquered burlwood makes up the bulk of the five-drawer chest, displaying a caramel color with fiery swirls of light and dark. Brass and chrome accents anchor the wood at the top and bottom and work as a chic contrast to the burlwood in both color and texture. Their modest sizes make it ideal for use in contemporary spaces, as consoles, nightstands, as display each side of a large door, or simply in a bedroom or dressing, with a quality to last.
