Origin: Italy Period: 18th Century Materials: Walnut, walnut veneers, Giallo Angellino inlays; Chased bronze mounts. Condition: Good. Minor veneer replacements and cracks at aprons; slight warp at top (age appropriate). Creation Date: Circa 1740. Styles / Movements: Baroque, Traditional Book References: CF:" ll Mobile Romano", Goffredo LIzzani, pp 133/34 for illustrations of Roman trumeaus cabinets with closely related Giallo Angelino intarsia cartouches in the Ruspoli and Odescalchi collections.
