    A Biedermeier lyraform ebonized cherrywood small secretaire a abbatant, distinctively finished "in the round", the interior centering a mirrored parquetry niche with flanking draped caryatids.

    Origin: Austria
    Period: 19th Century
    Materials: Cherry veneers with ebonized detailing and amaranth inlays. Maple, fruitwood and mahogony parquetry. Verdigris and parcel gilding.
    Condition: Excellent. Ebonizing refreshed, veneer shrinkage age appropriate fissure at fall front; stamped metal mounts most likely original.
    Creation Date: Circa 1825.
