Description
A fine Neoclassical karelian birch cabinet, with inset specimen marble top and original gilt metal mounts, on its original cast metal ball and claw feet. Russian, ca 1810. The finely chased gilt bronze mounts, representing Centaur with Eros Astride, after the Hadrian's Villa "Furietti Centaurs", and Centaur with Warrior Astride.
