Description
Probably Connecticut River Valley, ca. 1785. The interior is fitted with a central fan carved drawer initialed "TH", flanked by pigeon holes with shaped valences above small drawers. The finely carved desk lid above four graduated drawers with string inlay on the drawer faces is supported by a dovetailed bracket base.

Origin: United States Period: 18th Century Materials: Cherry, white pine secondary woods. Condition: Fair. Replaced brass but period, minor cracks to a few foot facings, customary wear, otherwise in fine condition.
