Description
Variation of model 5668, three drawers with separators, two end doors each revealing three pull-out shelves and storage, and center door revealing two adjustable shelves. Reference: Dunbar Fine Furniture of the 1950s, Preface by Leslie Pina, pg. 194.
Edward Wormley's furniture designs utilized quality materials and were understated and well-made, taking the elements from classical/traditional design and translating them into a modern vernacular. His noteworthy contemporaries, Harvey Probber and T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings, incorporated a similar aesthetic. -
