The cupboard also reflects the tenacious conservatism of Germanic culture in in southeastern Pennsylvania during the 19th century kept alive by the waves of German immigration beginning in 1840s. This cupboard celebrates the marriage of Jacob and Elizabeth Orwig and is inscribed "March 1, 1861." A full family genealogy is available. Requires a 31" corner.
